Actually I don’t wake up
early in the morning , Dad used to say “Early to bed Early to rise Keeps man
healthy.” But I don’t follow the rules I create my own. That day 2nd
October morning 5:30 it doesn’t matter who was born on that day our whole
colony were in nice sleep. If we didn’t had independence I think my DAD’s
principle would become Universel. Seriously I was note awaken because of any
Gandhi jayanthi, I don’t know what happened I felt like someone kicked my back
and i felled down of my bed.
I was getting weird Nightmare from couple
of weeks, for 2 weeks I had just
witnessed a single nightmare, that I will be chasing a girl and I will
be running behind her like an ‘Cheetah tending towards its hunt’ don’t know why
I will be just running, it will be a long chase I will be jumping, crossing
small streets and many more things finally I gonna get that girl near the
bridge at the middle of the road where I
can see a car coming towards the bridge, she will be waiting for the car which
will be coming with a great speed, I grab bag from her but I couldn’t see the
face because it will be covered with mask
I try to open the mask but she escapes from me and I again starts running
behind her but another car from behind
will come and hit me because I will be at the middle of the road and tries to
cross it without noticing another vehicle and that vehicle runs away, she gets
seated in the car for which she will be waited(its not the same car which hits
me at back) and she goes away and I will get woke up from my sleep and don’t
understand what about that dream was.
But 2nd october I
didn’t get any nightmare I think because I was asleep, I never believed any such
things I was not superstitious , since I was sure that I am not going to get
any sleep thought of going to jogging, when I came out, my dad was already woke
up he was doing his daily exercise, off course he was shocked since it was
expected I ignored it and went on for which I had not done since
2years(jogging).And I started running actually I just wanted to cross our
colony road and go to the main road so that I can jog there, for god sake I
don’t wanted to seen by Anand uncle who was my dad’s best friend and for me one
of the boring uncle who used to give lectures which I hated the most, his house
was at the end of the road, ours was 4th cross if I had passed
another 3 cross I would have reached main road.
But It didn’t happen I stopped
near Anand uncles house, He was not there to stop me but I saw someone whom I
was seeing since 14 days in my dreams yes it was her, Black mask, Black pull
over, blue jeans, slim body, I just stared at her like I had never seen an
women. She was coming down from the top at side of the wall with the help of
the rope which she had tied and a bag on her back, it was around 6:10 my mind
woke up suddenly and started screaming “She is an robber do something” and I
reacted quickly took out my phone called Anand uncle and I started screaming on
her “Hey who are you?” she noticed me and started climbing up, Anand uncle came
out and I signed him she is up there he called police, she climbed on terrace I
even called my dad, and I said to uncle “she will be jumping from one house to
other or whatever if she does she has to go to the main road and I will be
going from shortcut I will reach road you come with my dad” he insisted “please do that” and I started
running actually I was pretty good in these aspects I had seen many bond movies
and actually I was tapping my back while
I was running because I reacted very
well at that situation and focusing on the present situation I started running
bit faster, I don’t know why it is happening to me, I don’t know what is going
to happen to me but THE CHASE had started.
Actually I was supposed to take the
shortcut, But what I did is I went straight away on the main road, if I had
gone on the shortcut I would reach at the other end where there is a bridge and
if she come across the opposite end she can easily escape because there was a
small streets ahead something like slum area, so I came near that slum area
expecting that she would come, Dad called meanwhile “were are you?”
“ Searching here at opposite
street, were are you?”
“we are near the
bridge, if u find her call us, police are on their way”
“Ok”
I heard a sound of someone
running, I came back to see who was that and my calculations was right she was
coming towards street, I found a shop nearby were I could hide and waited for
her as she crossed that shop I ran back grabbed her right hand and closed her mouth by
my left hand, she tried for couple of minutes to get loosened from me but very
tightly I had holded her hand and mouth, I wanted to call my dad but my 2 hands
were couldn’t do that as I was expecting some help wondering anyone could see
us and I can ask an help but for my fortune none of them were their at that
place, at that time she grabbed phone from my pocket and called my dad and kept
it on my left ear, I was like shocked what was she doing why did she do that?,
at that time I saw her eyes it was not just an eye it was something more that
it was the most beautiful eyes I had never seen before, tears shed in her eyes
it was looking like an reflection of blue moon at the lake, I removed my hand
from her mouth but I had held her right hand tightly her left one was at my
left ears were my dad was screaming at phone “what happened?” , I didn’t
replied I was not in this world I was in the eyes were I could see the blue
moon. I don’t know what happened I just
left her free and I uttered a single word I don’t were it came from I just said “Go”, and she
didn’t wait for anything she was very quick ran away and disappeared.
My dad and uncle came running after
a while I couldn’t come out of that world till they come,
Dad “ were is she, what
happened, did u find her?”
“No”
Anand uncle was very much tensed
he broke the silence between us and said “ ok Abhi you take right and you
search for her there, we will go to the other part of this area were gundappa
and muniyappa(both were workers at his
house) stays, with their help we will
search there and you search here if you didn’t find wait here till we come
because this the only way to reach main road and we cant wait till police
comes”
I agreed to his order and started
move towards the right part area were less no of buildings were there most of
the area consists of empty sites but were my dad and uncle had gone it was of
big one I think she could be hiding somewhere their. I was just thinking about
myself what did I do I left her freely, I don’t know who she is, it started
feeling guilty I had cheated uncle, he always gives me boring speech it doesn’t
mean that I should cheat him he always wished best for me. Don’t know were to
go just thought of going till the end of
the road were there were 5 houses, but I stooped at the middle and was
watching around my mind was blank suddenly a voice made me activated I heard
like someone crying I just went back to the end, stood near 1st
house around 100metre ahead I could see
the 5th house were she was standing holding the bag infront of two
big people I mean those 2 were like Guliver she handed over the bag to one
person but the other was holding a child around age 6 he was screaming to leave
him free
Time was around 6:45 I was just like an spectator for what happened
their, they had some conversations for a while one of the person took the bag
and counted the money , I found a tree to hide myself and was watching
curiously what is going to happen there, after counting he pushed her back and
started scolding her, she was still in her mask the child was crying she lying
on the ground grabbed the soil in her hands, she threw it on his eyes and the
other one who came attack on her she gave a nice punch to his face and kicked
right away at his center point at that shot he was almost lost his
consciousness then she grabbed the child and I came in front of her after all
action scene she saw me and even took the bag and ran towards me, she threw the
bag at me and I caught it by my right hand since there was my cell phone in my
other hand, it was bit heavy and I was closing the zip of that bag meanwhile
she grabbed my phone which was in my other hand and ran away with that child, I
was about say F**k but the guy with mud in his eyes was already cleared his
eyes and he saw me with the bag “Hey you both stop there you beeeep” I cant
give that bag to him it was my uncles so with no other options I started
running and THE CHASE PART-2 had already started.
Why I am running? why I should run?
What is happening?, my god I was like patient in the mental hospital getting
shock treatment with no reason for instance I didn’t care about that fat guy
who was behind me I only know that I need to get her she had my phone not just
an phone it was i-phone 5 my dad had gifted it to me for my birthday and I cant
loose that, actually I was very anger on her I felt like I am the most stupid
person in the world who makes an robber to go from is hand, but the fact I
realized at that time was I didn’t left her because of my uncle for which I was
feeling guilty I had left her because of her innocent eyes that makes you feel
that ‘don’t make those eyes wet’. But
money was in my hand all I wanted is to get her, my mind was saying “ first
grab your mobile and get rid from her”, but my heart was whispering “just stand
in front of her and just stare at those eyes”. I know that my heart is little
bit crazy, just focusing on the path I crossed that street I was on main road
she was running towards the bridge which was at the other end of the road and I
saw back he was actually very fast he was just 10-15 feet behind me, she
reached the bridge and stood there with her child don‘t know why?
I just
wanted to run as fast as possible but suddenly something came in back and hit
my back very badly it was actually a big stone which was thrown by him and I
will be exclaiming my pain by screaming loudly “aaahhhhh” she sees that and
runs towards me I will be lying at the middle of the road with my bag, he also
starts running towards me I pick up that stone and I will threw on him he
escapes from that, aggressively he fastens his speed and run towards me but for my fortune Cops
arrives I could see their Jeep at the other end, he stops their and find his
way back to escape from them and I could sense a chilled hand on my shoulder it was of her I
didn’t hear what my mind said I followed my heart I just stared at her eyes like I never did
before and that was not just an eye it was something more than that, and for
her fortune she got an bike driven by another lady I said “ Hi, I am Abhiram” she didn’t reply
she got up on the bike but the little child came to me hugged me very tightly
and gave me a kiss and said “thank u” and he returned my cellphone, then I came
to know that she had grabbed it because she could call that lady who was on
bike, his eyes was also like that lady bluish one, actually I had lots of
question to ask but I know that a cops are behind me I just asked him one
question
“ let me guess you’re her little brother right?”
“ let me guess you’re her little brother right?”
He said “ no, I am her son”
I was shocked my mouth was opened like an manhole, she looks
younger, being a mother how could she do those stunts and moreover she fought
like an superhero with those two Gulivers
,I was actually proud of her only a mother could do that, she could have
beaten me up when I held her hand very tightly and closed her mouth I was not
as tough as those two gulivers . Her son also got up on the bike she waved her
hand saying good bye, finally she uttered a word “thank you” and they left, but
till the end I was not able to see her face..
My dad, uncle, couple of officers
came towards me after few seconds off course as expected they asked what
happened? I was wondering 14 days I was
getting a dream of this girl but in that dream there was no child and there was
a car due to which I will be hurted, but here everything happened completely
different to it, I was keep on thinking about that and They keep on asking me
questions but I was not prepared what to tell them after a while some thing
flashed in my mind, for all their questions I answered and my uncle was very
happy because I had taken back the bag having money he had his wealth back, to
all their questions my answer was my dream which I was getting it since 14 days
it was not a truth but it was answer what I am supposed to tell and today I
understood why I was getting that dream, but I didn’t understand why it came to
me?, why she was doing all this stuff? Why her child was with those
gulivers? And the only question which
was hitting my mind was who was she?,
but the only thing I could realize at that moment was I had done
something which I had not done before which is making me to feel happy from
depth of my heart.
After clearing their doubts and answering
to all their questions my dad held me and he carried me because I was hurt very
badly
Angrily he asked “ Why you
were running on the middle of the road those paths are made for your sake you
will not follow traffic rules while driving or riding your bike atleast you do
while running or walking”
“Dad , I don’t follow rules I create my own
and I don’t listen what my mind says I just follow my heart”
